Unsettled weather expected across UAE tomorrow
Sunday forecast shows gradual improvement with partly cloudy skies and light rain
DUBAI – Residents across the UAE can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with rainfall possible over coastal, northern and eastern regions tomorrow, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Convective clouds are likely to form in some areas, bringing scattered showers and occasional heavy downpours.
Wind alert
Winds will be moderate to fresh, shifting from southeasterly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 15 to 30 km/h and peaking at 45 km/h in some locations. These gusts may cause blowing dust and sand, affecting visibility at times.
Sea conditions
Sea conditions are forecast to be rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. In the Arabian Gulf, the first high tide is expected at 12:21 pm and the second at 2:57 am, with low tides at 8:07 pm and 6:41 am. In the Sea of Oman, high tides will occur at 8:52 am and 10:51 pm, with lows at 3:44 pm and 4:40 am.
Sunday forecast
By Sunday, skies are expected to partly clear, with low clouds forming over islands and western areas. Rainfall chances remain, though conditions are forecast to gradually stabilise. Winds will ease to between 10 and 35 km/h, and seas will shift from rough to moderate.
Next week’s forecast
From Monday onwards, partly cloudy skies are expected, with increasing night-time and early-morning humidity over western internal regions. Winds will be light to moderate, and sea conditions will improve further.
Residents are advised to follow official weather alerts and exercise caution, particularly in flood-prone areas and during periods of reduced visibility.
